Me? Why?? Kenapa gw harus bikin blog??

No, it’s not simply ‘just a trend’. Coz everyone assumed, a blog is just a “diary”, whilst it’s not the essential meaning of a blog. If it’s only a diary, then I won’t bother to make one just to keep myself up-to-date with the so-called ‘trend’, ‘lifestyle’, etc.

According to my digital dictionary, WordWeb (I like this dictionary very much for its simpleness, yet still powerful, and the best of it: FREE!), a blog (web-log) is “A shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies”. Which means, a blog is not just simply a diary; it also contains information that might be useful for some people. I’ll try to keep it that way.

So I decided to make a blog, because of the past few months (or even YEARS!) where events keep coming one after another, and I eager to share my thoughts about it to the world, also to practice myself in writing skills, deeper thoughts, new and fresh ideas (which would be a great asset for entrepreneurship). Unfortunately, I am not that much of a self-motivated person, so I just started my blog now instead of a long time ago. Besides, I’m still in a confusion whether I’d start my blog on great sites like WordPress (I like it for its “professionalism”), or on a LAME site like Friendster’s blog (it has only one advantage: Friendster always notifies about a new blog or an updated blog to the author’s friends. Though some people hates it. They just don’t know that those notifies can be turned off, ha-ha-ha. This feature not to make myself known to others since I myself prefer to remain “unknown”, but more to make them aware that there’s a blog waiting to be read hehehe).

And so as you already see, I write my blog disobeying the “eight golden rules”, coz I use English and Bahasa here. I know it already; don’t try to criticize me on this coz I have my own reasons. Well, sorry for those who don’t understand english as much as I do (I know it sucks for you), but I believe that more people are actually already an expert in English, much better than myself (just an amateur). If you don’t agree with me… at least most of you have the operating system running on your computer(s) with a “Start” menu on the taskbar instead of “Mulai” menu, so this campuraduk language shouldn’t be a problem for ya, rite!

That’s the background of starting a new blog. How about myself?

Is that so important? Well, as said b4, I’d prefer to have myself undisclosed to the public, but since I might also give a link to this blog thing in my Friendster profile (for my friends to read), well I guess I can redirect you there too.

Name? I can tell you my nickname. Some people call me Chris (usu. in Univ), some people call me Max (usu. schoolmates), and some call me Top (only a few close friends). I assume u can guess my fullname already.

Music genres I like, depends on my mood and the day.. if I’m in the mood for blues, then it’s blues. If it’s evening then I like Acid Jazz, 80-90’s. If it’s the day when the sun shines so bright (read: too bright and too hot), I like Norah Jones’. When it’s on the heavy cloud or rain, I like Geri Halliwell’s “It’s Raining Men”, The Corrs’ “Rainy Day”, Emilia’s “Big Big World”, and so on. But most of the time I like to listen to Jazz, Pop, Country, Techno, and Blues. Rock, Metal, and Alternative is in my blackest blaclist. Movies? Japan (anime), Western/Hollywood (action), and Korea/Japan (drama).

Talkative? In this virtual world, very. (I like bugging people btw). But in the real world, I’m so quiet that you might hear the clock ticking while you’re with me in the room.

How do I dress? Plain. Dress down. A friend of mine once said that I have an “old-skool-style”, which means TOO PLAIN, outdated, etc. Should I be proud of it? Hehehe.
